Dr. Oz MCT Oil & Coconut Oil

On today’s Dr. Oz Show, Dr.Oz is talking about some different supplements that can help melt the fat away! One of these supplements is MCT Oil. A few others he is talking about is Capsicum, Calcium Pyruvate, Matcha Tea and CLA. Now when Dr. Oz talks about fat burners and supplements that melt fat away, it’s usually a pretty big deal. So what is this MCT Oil he is talking about?

What is MCT Oil?

MCT’s or Medium-Chain Triglyceride can help you lose those last stubborn 5lbs according to Dr. Oz. It is one of their favorite fat melters because it can easily be added to any food or lifestyle. Because these types of fat are much smaller, they are easy for you to digest and go right into the stomach and liver where they are used for energy. They said that when you add MCT Oil to your diet, you can lose about 100 more calories per day, which is about 1 lb per month.

How to Get MCT Oil

Dr. oz recommended a good source of MCT Oil…coconut oil, which he has talked about many times on the show. It’s easy to use coconut oil too. Just replace your other oils with it, or mix it with your smoothie or shake.


It is recommended that you take 1 to 2 tablespoons of MCT oil each day in the form of coconut oil. That should result in 10-20 grams.
